Osprey Pond Fish Move a Success

As part of the golf course renovation, over 1,300 bass and bream (valued at more than $6,000) have been successfully relocated to other ponds on Spring Island due to the draining of Osprey Pond.  Included in the fish saved was a ten pound trophy bass which was relocated to the Upper Goose Pond. The remaining fish have been moved to the following ponds: Old Tabby Links, Deep Pond, and Twin Pipes.

Mike Perry estimated this fish to potentially exceed the current state record of 154lbs.

This fish was released to fight another day.
