Spring Island member Barbara Thomas has been blogging her six-month assignment with Habitat for Humanity in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia on the Danube River, between Vienna and Budapest. In her online journal titled A Civil Conversation, Ms. Thomas posts wonderful photos of the area as she takes in the sights and culture in the frigid country.
