While 2020 was anything but a normal year, Spring Island Members were still able to get outside and enjoy their spectacular natural surroundings. The staff at the Nature Center along with the Spring Island Trust worked together to provide opportunities for learning about and enjoying the beautiful landscape and wildlife here on the island. Education Director Tony Mills’ favorite experience of the year was when a young peregrine falcon was brought into the Nature Center. “We facilitated the transportation to the Center for Birds of Prey for rehabilitation and two weeks later I had the honor of releasing it right here on Spring Island!” Visit the Spring Island Trust’s YouTube Channel to see more!
